Quick answer

Does Hetzner rent dedicated servers in Singapore, and what are the alternatives?

No. Hetzner does not rent dedicated servers in Singapore: its documentation, read on 2 November 2026, keeps Singapore for cloud products only, and its dedicated root servers stay in Germany and Finland. Alternatives there include OVHcloud, Vultr, MonoVM, RedSwitches and Cherry Servers. Copperstrait rents Strait 16 in Singapore from $143.25 per 30 days, crypto, no KYC.

Does Hetzner rent dedicated servers in Singapore?

No. Hetzner's location documentation lists Singapore under the code sin, in the network zone ap-southeast. It says the location is only for cloud products, so dedicated root servers cannot be ordered there. We read it on 2 November 2026.

Hetzner's cloud page says it has offered cloud instances in Singapore since 2024. Its dedicated root server page names three datacenter sites, all certified to ISO 27001:2022: Nuremberg, Falkenstein/Vogtland and Helsinki.

The question is common. Google suggests "hetzner singapore dedicated server" to anyone who types "hetzner singapore". The answer has not changed since the cloud region opened.

In Singapore, Hetzner rents virtual machines, not machines.

Is a Hetzner CCX cloud server the same as a dedicated server?

No. Hetzner says each CCX instance runs on dedicated AMD vCPUs. Those cores are yours, but the instance is still a virtual machine on a host that Hetzner runs.

A dedicated server is the whole physical machine. You choose the system, the disk layout and the hypervisor, if you want one. The processor, memory and disks are reserved for your machine; no neighbour shares them.

For many web apps, a CCX instance is enough and starts cheaper. A dedicated server makes sense when you need all the memory, local NVMe disks without neighbours, or Proxmox VE to run your own virtual machines.

How much traffic does a Hetzner cloud server in Singapore include?

Less than in Europe, by Hetzner's own figures. Its Singapore page says included traffic runs from 0.5 TB to 5 TB of outbound data a month, depending on the plan. Extra traffic costs $8.49 per TB.

Hetzner's documentation says it charges different prices in the us-east, us-west and ap-southeast zones. It gives higher operating costs in the USA and Singapore as the reason.

A worked example: 10 TB over a 5 TB allowance adds 10 × $8.49 = $84.90 to the month. A Copperstrait server in Singapore carries 20 TB per 30 days on Strait 16. Every server has a 1 Gbit/s port with a monthly traffic allowance (Strait 16 20 TB, Strait 32 20 TB, Strait 32F 30 TB), one dedicated IPv4 address and an IPv6 /64; going past the allowance never triggers an automatic bill. No China-optimised route (CN2) is sold.

Which hosts rent dedicated servers in Singapore instead?

One Singapore plan per host, read on each host's public pages. Sizes differ widely, so compare cores, memory and traffic, not only the price.

Prices as listed on 2 November 2026, before VAT where the host quotes it; 1 EUR = 1.1172 USD (ECB, 2026-10-30). "On triggers" means the host's terms allow an ID request in some cases.

Which Singapore alternative fits which buyer?

Each one has a real strength.

  • OVHcloud lists the lowest Singapore prices. On 2 November most of its cheap lines were out of stock, with 250 to 500 Mbit/s ports or 5 TB of traffic. It takes no crypto.
  • Vultr bills by the hour, has an API and sells bare metal in Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul and India. It takes crypto through BitPay.
  • Cherry Servers says pre-built servers deploy in about 12 minutes. Its Singapore stock was limited to two EPYC models.
  • MonoVM sells a 16-core EPYC box in Singapore at $191.00. Its terms promise dedicated delivery in 5 to 10 business days.
  • RedSwitches shows a one-hour delivery badge on most Singapore builds. It asks no ID from crypto payers.

RedSwitches takes crypto only through Cryptomus, and MonoVM uses it among four processors. The UK designated the company behind Cryptomus and Heleket on 8 October 2026.

Can I rent a Singapore server without ID and pay in crypto?

Yes, but few hosts make it simple. In Copperstrait's survey of 33 hosts selling bare metal in Asia on 2 November 2026, 26 sell in Singapore. Only 6 had a Singapore server payable in crypto without ID that passed every rule of our price check. Those rules include a 1 Gbit/s port, 10 TB of traffic, a CPU from 2018 or later and monthly billing.

Hetzner takes no crypto at all. Its payment documentation lists card, SEPA direct debit, bank transfer and PayPal. In our survey of 30 October 2026, its terms also allowed an ID check or a card prepayment before an order.

What each host asks for is compared on whether you can rent a server in Hong Kong or Singapore without ID. Coins and processors are on which Asian hosts accept Bitcoin or USDT.

What does Copperstrait rent in Singapore?

Whole machines, at one price in all three cities. Dedicated servers in Asia: one whole physical machine per customer, in the city of your choice, with root access and nothing shared. No KYC: you upload no ID, no selfie and no documents, and give no card or phone number.

Strait 16 costs $143.25/30 days: AMD EPYC 7302P (16 cores / 32 threads), 64 GB DDR4 ECC, 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe in RAID 1, 1 Gbit/s port with 20 TB of traffic per 30 days, 1 IPv4 and an IPv6 /64. Its comparison floor is at least 16 cores, 64 GB of memory and 1.9 TB of SSD or NVMe. The cheapest server reaching that floor in our survey cost $191.00 at MonoVM in Singapore, so Strait 16 costs 25% less.

Once your crypto payment is confirmed, the team sets up the machine and hands it over in minutes, with one hour as the upper limit; the dashboard tracks it until the IP address shows. The full grid and longer terms are on how much a Copperstrait server costs. Singapore itself is covered on where to rent a dedicated server in Singapore.
