**Quick answer — How much does a Copperstrait dedicated server cost?**

**Copperstrait dedicated servers cost $143.25 to $828.68 per 30 days, at prices set on 2 November 2026.** Strait 16 (16 cores / 32 threads, 64 GB DDR4 ECC) is $143.25, Strait 32 $356.25 and Strait 32F, with 2 × 7.68 TB NVMe, $828.68. Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo share one price list. Payment is crypto only: no KYC, no setup fee.

## Which server, for how long, in which port?

Choose a plan, a rental length and a location, then continue to [the checkout](https://copperstrait.com/app/checkout/?lang=en). Every plan and rental length is priced in [the pricing table](https://copperstrait.com/pricing/ "How much does a Copperstrait dedicated server cost?").

## What does each server cost, by length of rental?

Pick one of three machines, then a rental length of 30 days, 3, 6 or 12 months, charged to your crypto balance. Per 30 days: Strait 16 $143.25, Strait 32 $356.25, Strait 32F $828.68. **A Tokyo server costs exactly what the same server costs in Hong Kong or Singapore.** The checkout then asks for a city, an operating system and, if you like, an SSH public key. Leave the key out and you receive a temporary root password.

| Plan | Quantity | 30 days | 3 months | 6 months | 1 year |

## What hardware is inside each Strait server?

Each Strait server is a single physical box. Its name gives the core count; Strait 32F takes its F from its processor, the AMD EPYC 9375F.

| Server | CPU | Cores / threads | Memory | Disks | Port | Traffic | Per 30 days |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Strait 16 | AMD EPYC 7302P | 16 cores / 32 threads | 64 GB DDR4 ECC | 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe | 1 Gbit/s | 20 TB per 30 days | $143.25 |
| Strait 32 | AMD EPYC 9354 | 32 cores / 64 threads | 384 GB DDR5 ECC | 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe | 1 Gbit/s | 20 TB per 30 days | $356.25 |
| Strait 32F | AMD EPYC 9375F | 32 cores / 64 threads | 384 GB DDR5 ECC | 2 × 7.68 TB NVMe | 1 Gbit/s | 30 TB per 30 days | $828.68 |

On two-disk servers the system is mirrored in software RAID 1 unless you ask support, before delivery, for RAID 0 or separate disks. Every server has a 1 Gbit/s port with a monthly traffic allowance (Strait 16 20 TB, Strait 32 20 TB, Strait 32F 30 TB), one dedicated IPv4 address and an IPv6 /64; going past the allowance never triggers an automatic bill. No China-optimised route (CN2) is sold. Strait 32 pairs 384 GB DDR5 ECC with the same 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe as Strait 16; Strait 32F moves up to 2 × 7.68 TB NVMe.

## What do 3, 6 and 12 months of rental cost?

**Commit longer and the rate drops: 10% off for 3 months, 20% for 6, 30% for 12.** None of the lengths adds a setup fee. Rent a server for 30 days, 3 months (91 days, 10% off), 6 months (182 days, 20% off) or 12 months (365 days, 30% off): a longer term is the 30-day price times 3, 6 or 12, less the discount, rounded down to the cent (Strait 16: $386.77 for 3 months, $687.60 for 6, $1,203.30 for 12). A renewal keeps your term and starting price unless you pick another term for the next renewal in the dashboard.

| Server | 30 days | 3 months (91 days) | 6 months (182 days) | 12 months (365 days) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Strait 16 | $143.25 | $386.77 | $687.60 | $1,203.30 |
| Strait 32 | $356.25 | $961.87 | $1,710.00 | $2,992.50 |
| Strait 32F | $828.68 | $2,237.43 | $3,977.66 | $6,960.91 |

## How does Copperstrait set each price?

**Each Strait price sits at least a quarter under a named comparable machine sold in the three cities.** Only crypto hosts that skip ID checks at signup set that benchmark, and we do not claim to be the cheapest at every size. A comparable machine is one that reaches the server's floor; it does not have to match our hardware. The rule in full: Each server is priced at least 25% under a named reference server (prices read on 2 November 2026): Strait 16 against MonoVM's “AMD EPYC 7302 (Singapore)” at $191.00 a month; Strait 32 against KoDDoS's “EPYC-9354-768GB-3.84TB-NVMe-10Gbps-Hong-Kong” at $475.00 a month; Strait 32F against Cherry Servers's “AMD EPYC 9375F (Singapore)” at $1,104.91 a month. The reference is the comparable dedicated server with the smallest monthly price in Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo among 7 hosts that accept crypto without asking for ID at signup: it reaches the server's comparison floor (Strait 16: at least 16 cores, 64 GB of memory and 1.9 TB of SSD or NVMe; Strait 32: at least 32 cores, 384 GB of memory and 3.8 TB of SSD or NVMe; Strait 32F: at least 32 cores, 384 GB of memory and 10 TB of SSD or NVMe) with a port of 1 Gbit/s or more, at least 10 TB of traffic, a CPU from 2018 or later, one IPv4 address, monthly billing and stock shown. City surcharges are included, setup fees are spread over twelve months; hosts that ask for ID or take no crypto do not count, nor does AliasVPS; euro prices are converted at 1 EUR = 1.1172 USD (ECB, 2026-10-30).

The crypto condition removes most of the market. Of 950 Asian bare-metal plans Copperstrait read on 2 November 2026, 58% belonged to hosts with no confirmed crypto payment. How the remaining hosts price a Hong Kong server is broken down in [How much does a dedicated server in Hong Kong cost per month?](https://copperstrait.com/hong-kong-dedicated-server-price/ "Hong Kong dedicated server prices per month, November 2026")

No host in our survey sold a Hong Kong server at the Strait 32F floor. MonoVM takes crypto through four processors, Cryptomus among them; RedSwitches takes it only through Cryptomus. The United Kingdom designated Cryptomus (also trading as Heleket) on 8 October 2026.

## What does a comparable server cost elsewhere in each city?

**At no-KYC crypto hosts, a server at the Strait 16 floor cost a median $425.00 in Hong Kong, $903.51 in Singapore and $662.35 in Tokyo.** Strait 16 costs $143.25 in all three.

Other hosts often charge by city. MonoVM's EPYC 7302 server cost $191.00 in Singapore and $478.00 in Tokyo on the same order page. RedSwitches priced the same Xeon E-2286G box at €251 in Hong Kong, €253 in Singapore and €354 in Tokyo. KoDDoS, Cherry Servers and Vultr kept one price per server. Every surcharge we found is listed on [What is the cheapest dedicated server hosting in Asia?](https://copperstrait.com/cheap-dedicated-server-asia/ "Cheapest dedicated servers in Asia and city surcharges, November 2026")

## How is a Copperstrait server billed?

**Money goes into a crypto balance first; each server then draws its rental from that balance.** You pay each server ahead from your crypto balance for one of four lengths picked at checkout: 30 days, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. With auto-renew on, that length is charged again at your starting price, unless you switch the next renewal to another length in the dashboard; if the balance cannot pay it, the server powers off when the length runs out, keeps its disks for 7 days, then is wiped.

There is no setup fee, on the first order or on any renewal. The smallest top-up accepted is $1. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your servers. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it. Incoming payments are screened against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses wherever the chain shows the sender, which a Monero transfer does not; payments from a listed address are not credited.

If we cannot deliver a server, or it fails and support cannot restore it, the days it was out of service are put back on your balance. Balances never expire. Top-ups are not paid out unless the law requires it; whatever was paid only to reach the minimum top-up can be returned on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, if still unspent. The [refund policy](https://copperstrait.com/refunds/ "When days go back on your Copperstrait balance") lists every case.

## When is a new server handed over?

Expect it within minutes of payment confirmation, one hour at the outside. Once your crypto payment is confirmed, the team sets up the machine and hands it over in minutes, with one hour as the upper limit; the dashboard tracks it until the IP address shows.

That ceiling is far below the field's: the maximum setup times other hosts state had a median of 48 hours and ran from 3 minutes to 10 business days. Use the dashboard to ask for a reboot, a reinstall or a cancellation, and the team carries it out; a reinstall clears every disk.

## What happens after I rent a server?

1. **Top up in crypto** — Choose your server at checkout, then pay in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, XMR: the top-up is set to the price of your order. Minimum top-up $1.
2. **Payment credited** — Your balance is credited once the payment is checked on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation time: BTC ≈ 20 min · USDT TRC-20 ≈ 1 min · USDT ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · USDC ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · ETH ≈ 5 min · SOL ≈ 1 min · LTC ≈ 15 min · XMR ≈ 20 min.
3. **A person prepares your server** (within 1 h) — Someone on the team sets up your server in the location and with the system you chose, and hands it over in minutes, with one hour as the upper limit. Locations: Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo.
4. **IP address and root access in your dashboard** — The IP address appears in your dashboard. Root logs in with your SSH key, or with a temporary root password shown there if you gave no key. `ssh root@<server IP>`

## Which extras does the price leave out?

Your money pays for the machine, its network allowance and support by real people. Left out on purpose:

- **Out-of-band console:** No IPMI or KVM-over-IP console is given to customers; the team runs the reboots and reinstalls you request in the dashboard.
- **Backup service:** Backups are not part of the service: keep copies of your data on another machine.
- **Attack filtering:** No DDoS mitigation is promised beyond what the datacenter network applies by itself.
- **Windows licences:** Install Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux, or Proxmox VE to split the machine into your own virtual servers. Windows is not offered.
- **SMTP on port 25:** Outgoing port 25 is shut on every server, permanently, to keep spam out; ports 465 and 587 to mail providers work.
- **China-optimised routes:** no CN2 line is sold, and residents of mainland China are not served. [What is CN2 GIA, and do I need it on a Hong Kong server?](https://copperstrait.com/what-is-cn2-gia/ "CN2 GIA explained for buyers outside China") explains the term.
- **Lightning payments:** not taken, though Monero is. Our survey found 1 Asian host with Lightning and 6 with Monero.

## How do I pay for a Strait server in crypto?

Your account is a number. You fund it in crypto, rent from the balance, and never hand over a name, a passport or card details.

1. **Top up $1 or more** — Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, XMR). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
2. **Send it to the address shown, on the exact network** — The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin, XMR on Monero. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.
3. **Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”** — Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.
4. **Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain** — Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:
5. **Rent your server** — Pick a server, a term, a city, a system and your SSH key (or none, for a temporary root password); the top-up follows the price of that term. Once the payment is confirmed, your server is built and handed over in minutes, never more than one hour later; its IP address then shows in the dashboard. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your servers. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.

| Crypto | Network | Confirmations | Usual time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Bitcoin | 2 | ≈ 20 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Tron (TRC-20) | 20 | ≈ 1 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| USD Coin (USDC) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Ethereum (ETH) | Ethereum | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Solana (SOL) | Solana | 1 | ≈ 1 min |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Litecoin | 6 | ≈ 15 min |
| Monero (XMR) | Monero | 10 | ≈ 20 min |

## What else should I know before paying for a Strait server?

### Does a server cost more in Tokyo than in Hong Kong?

No. Strait 16 costs $143.25 in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo alike, so the city is a question of distance to your users. The trade-offs between two of the ports are weighed in [Singapore or Tokyo: which server location is better for Asia?](https://copperstrait.com/singapore-vs-tokyo-server/ "Singapore against Tokyo for a server in Asia")

### Can I try a server for free first?

No free trial is offered; Strait 16, the smallest server, costs $143.25 for 30 days. Days lost to a failed delivery, or to a fault support cannot fix, are credited back to your balance instead.

### Can I rent for just 30 days?

Yes, and renew 30 days at a time for as long as you like. Strait 32F is $828.68 for one period, $3,977.66 for six months and $6,960.91 for a year.

### What if my balance cannot pay the renewal?

You pay each server ahead from your crypto balance for one of four lengths picked at checkout: 30 days, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. With auto-renew on, that length is charged again at your starting price, unless you switch the next renewal to another length in the dashboard; if the balance cannot pay it, the server powers off when the length runs out, keeps its disks for 7 days, then is wiped. Topping up before the wipe restarts the server as you left it.

### Will heavy traffic raise my bill?

No bill is ever raised automatically.

### How can Copperstrait charge less than the hosts it compares with?

Its prices follow a survey of 7 no-KYC crypto hosts dated 2 November 2026: each server is priced at least 25% under the comparable offers recorded there. We do not claim to be the cheapest at every size. The cost of that: no remote console, no backup service, no Lightning payments and no CN2 route.

Copperstrait: Copperstrait rents dedicated servers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, paid in crypto with no KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. Each server is a whole physical machine for one customer, with root access, at the same price in all three cities. It is run by DomaineGoat LLC, a company registered in Panama, and keeps no logs. Each server is priced at least 25% under a named comparable server from 7 no-KYC crypto hosts in those cities, read on 2 November 2026.
